TH : JEFFERSON, AN ACT Ai.ntr the sessions of the District Courts nf the United States, for the districts of Virginia and Rhode-Island, ard.for the disa-ict of West Tennessee. BE it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of tte United States cj America jl l-O'igtzsi asseiiwteu, x ia,t scaaiuua j the District Court for the district of 'Virgi jiia, directed by law to be held in the town of Norfolk, shall be hereafter held, and commence on the 15th, day of June and on the 15th day of December, m every year nnd that the sessions of the said court, dir re ted bv law to be held in the city of Rich inond. shall be held and commence on the uiru teen'h Jay of May and on the nineteenth dn,v oi' November in everv year ' Sec- 2, And be it further enacted, Tha vher either of the said days shall happen to he oh Sunday, the sessions of the sa.d court ih.-s.ll commence on the following day. AN .ACT To ascertain the boundary of the lands' te served by the State of Virgin ia. north wct 'f the river Ohio, for the satisfaction of her officers and soldiers on continental 'es tablishment, and to limit the period for aungthe said lands. , E it enacted By the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States cf Ameri ca, in Congress assembled, That the line run tinder the direction of the. surveyor-general of the United Spates, from the source of the LittleMiamiy -.owards the source of the Sci cto, h which binds on the east, the surveys of the lands of the 0 States, shall, together with its source continued to the Scioto river, be considered k held a$ the westernly bouudaVy ime, north of the source of the Little Miami,: ot the Territory reserved by. the State of Vir ginia, between the Little Miami and Scioto nvgrs, for the use of the officers and soldiers w the continental line of that State : Provi ded, that the State of Virgini shall, within two years after the passing' of; this act, re cognize such line as the boundary of the said territory. . BE it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives oj the Umted States rj Ameri ca, in Congress assembled. That for the pur pose of enabling the Secretary of the Navy to restore to the legal representatives of Da vid Valenzin, deceased, the value of the properly captured from him, in the Mediter ranean, by tho American squadron, in the year one thousand eight hundred and three; a sum not exceeding two thousand six hun diJ and sixty-five dollars and seventy cents, be, and the san: hereby is appropriated out of any monies in the treasury not otherwise appropriated; Provided, That the value of itu said property shall be first duly ascer tained by the proper accounting officers: And provided also, That the person or per sons " applying therefor, shall exhibit due proof of his or their being the true legal re presentative or representatives of the said David Valenzin. Sec. 2. And be it further ejiactcd.
